A prominent association of Doctor's started a building project to construct a new branch of their Birmingham based practice in a medical park in Montgomery, AL. The new facility is nestled within a grove of mature oaks. While building the parking lot and installing utiliy lines, major root damage occured.
This grove of pines survived the impact from the construction of the home. There was limited space available for the roots, between the house and lake. The pines had been showing a low growth rate and lack of vigor.
A large ginko tree suffered damage to the root system due to recent trenching near the tree.
